100 K WORTH OF JEWELS STOLEN FROM SHERMAN JEWELERS FLEMINGTON – perps busted

@ approximately 8:45 AM – On October 29, 2016 Raritan Township officers responded to Sherman Jewelers for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, they discovered the store had been broken into and over $100,000.00 of jewelry was missing. As part of the investigation, the Raritan Township Detective Bureau sent out an All-Points Bulletin detailing the incident.
The bulletin was disseminated to all law enforcement agencies in the state of NJ. Raritan Township Detectives were soon contacted by Middlesex County Prosecutors Office. Based on the details of the Raritan Township case it appeared to be a similar Modis Operandi to the burglaries being investigated in Middlesex County. Raritan Township joined the investigation along with16 other law enforcement agencies, including the FBI.
Michael A. Davis, 54, of Irvington, was charged with burglary and theft. Keir A. Dargon, 35, of Union Township, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit the burglary and theft at Sherman Jewelers.
