Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III and Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski announced that an investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit resulted in the arrest of Joshua Stevens, age 31, of Annandale, New Jersey. According to Prosecutor Kearns, “The investigation revealed that the defendant, while working at Shoprite in Franklin Township, groped the buttocks of the victim with the intent to humiliate or degrade her.
The defendant was charged with Criminal Sexual Contact and released on his own recognizance with a bail requirement that he has no contact with the victim.” This investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is requested to contact the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit at 908-788-1129.
