The annual Clinton Sunrise Rotary Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, 4/25, rain or shine. DeMott Pond will be stocked with fish for this free family event, and bait, bobbers and
hooks will be supplied; just bring your own pole.
The derby is open to ages 4 – 16 and each participant will receive a raffle ticket for door prize drawings.
Registration will be 8-9 a.m. and fishing 9 a.m.-noon. The pond is on Route 173 in Clinton, across the street and one block west of the Holiday Inn.
The Derby has been a long standing tradition in Clinton and has always been a positive experience for the youth of our community. It truly is an example of small town America at its best. The Rotary club is a charitable organization whose members are active in philanthropic projects in our community and around the world.
