Anthony J. Rosato
HARMONY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Anthony J. Rosato, 79, of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ.
Born December 16, 1935 in Cliffwood, NJ, Anthony lived Holland Township, NJ for 45 years before moving to Harmony Township in 2008. He worked for American Electrical Testing Co. in Massachusetts for over 20 years. Prior to that, Anthony worked for Jersey Central Power and Light in Morristown, NJ for 42 years. Anthony was a dedicated public servant, spending multiple elected terms as a Holland Township Committee member and Holland Township School Board. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He had a passion for football and was a staunch supporter of the Rutgers Football program. Anthony was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
Son of the late Sam and Sabina (DiPietri) Rosato, Anthony is survived by his wife Jane A. Rosato; his two sons David J. Rosato of Holland Township, NJ and Michael T. Rosato of Seattle; WA; his four daughters Jenny Stigall of North Carolina, Maryanne Romano of Stockton, NJ, Toni M. Triola of Chalfont, PA, and Christina D. Barbieri of Branchburg, NJ; his brother Vincent Rosato of Union Beach, NJ; his seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Justin Rosato and Thomas Rosato and his sisters Mary Muncuso and Veronica Rosato.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 7 PM at Shepherd of the Valley Assembly of God, 45 Spring Mills Road, Holland Township, NJ. Visistation will also be held on Thursday from 6-7 PM prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
