Are You Frustrated with Your Tween/Teen? Free Family Program Offers Tips on How to Improve Communication

Are you feeling frustrated with your tween/teen?  Are you tired of repeating the same request over and over again?  Does your teen have more control at home then you? Is your kids’ bickering and fighting driving you crazy? Have you often wished that your teen came with their own “How To” guide at birth? Well, you are not alone!!  Parenting is the toughest job in the world and you are probably doing most things right, but we all have areas we can improve on!


Please join Hunterdon Prevention Resources (HPR) as we present our Spring cycle of Strengthening Families, a free 7-week program that focuses on improving the family relationship by working with both parents and children in a group setting.


Dates:                  Every Wednesday, starting April 22, 2015 through June 10, 2015

Where:                Family Success Center, 87 Park Avenue, Flemington

The interactive parent portion of the program teaches tools for setting limits, the value of consequences, and techniques for communicating.  The interactive youth portion enhances communication skills through games and discussion and gives techniques your kids can use for goal setting and peer pressure.
