On Monday, May 18, at approximately 9:10 pm, Patrolman Andrew McCluskey responded to McDonalds on Center Street for a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Ptl. McCluskey met with a fifty-two (52) year-old Bloomsbury man who advised that there was no motor vehicle crash. Rather, the man advised that he became involved in a verbal dispute with another man who nearly struck his vehicle while he (the Bloomsbury man) was in the drive-thru line. The man further advised that, during the dispute, the other man punched him in the face and spit on him while he was still seated in his vehicle. The suspect then entered his vehicle and drove away. The suspect was described as being a white male, between forty (40) and fifty (50) years old, approximately 5’7” with a stocky build, short hair, and wearing a light-colored shirt with a pattern on it. He was driving a newer model white sedan possibly bearing a Pennsylvania license plate.
