at approximately 9:45 pm, a 2003 BMW sedan operated by Mohamed Sayid, age 19, of Northampton, PA, was stopped on Route 31 North near Interstate 78 for a violation. During the stop, an officer observed handgun rounds inside of the vehicle in plain view and also detected the odor of raw marijuana. A search produced a Smith & Wesson 327 TRR8 pellet gun, a Rogers Powerline 415 pellet gun, two (2) pounds of marijuana, and twenty-three (23) Adderall capsules in an unmarked prescription pill container. As a result, Mr. Sayid was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Over 50 Grams of Marijuana, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Speeding, and Reckless Driving. He was later lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail in default of bail.
