Barbara Galusha, age 83, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 19, 1933 in Elizabeth, NJ. She resided in the same house in Clinton Twp. since February of 1966. Prior to that, she lived in Metuchen, NJ.
She was the daughter of the late Edwin F. and Elizabeth C. Provost Morsbach.
Her husband, Donald A. Galusha passed away in 1985.
Barbara retired many years ago after working at Somerset Savings Bank in Somerville, NJ as a bank teller. Prior to that, she worked for Eastern Airlines in their reservation/ticketing department and also as a Bus Driver in Clinton Twp.
Barbara loved to knit, quilt and do cross stitch and was a member of the FCE in Gladstone, NJ. She was also a member of the Round Valley United Methodist Church in Lebanon, NJ. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include 3 sons; Donald “Bryant” B. Galusha and his wife Donna of Loveland, CO, Edwin “Fred” F. Galusha and his wife Tiffany of Hawley, PA and Charles S. Galusha and his girlfriend Jackie of Stewartsville, NJ. 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister; Louise Novak and her husband Howard of Longmont, CO.
Predeceased in addition to her husband, by one sister, Catherine Morsbach, who passed away in the 1930’s.
Calling hours will be Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Funeral service will be Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11am at Round Valley United Methodist Church, 30 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment at Union Cemetery in Lebanon, NJ.
