BRAKE LIGHT LEADS TO POT

Marijuana On Thursday, December 31, at approximately 1:30 am, Patrolman Joseph SanGiovanni stopped a 2000 Jeep Laredo operated by Anthony Cosme, age 27, of New York, NY on Route 22 West near Blossom Hill Road for having a brake light out. During the stop, Ptl. SanGiovanni detected the odor of marijuana and soon discovered several bags of it and a pipe inside of the vehicle. As a result, Ptl. SanGiovanni charged Mr. Cosme with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Maintenance of Lamps. He was released ROR.
