Brick Township Police Department find man on domestic violence loose from Cl Twp

On Tuesday, February 24, at approximately 12:30 pm, officers responded to a township residence and served a temporary restraining order (TRO) upon a thirtytwo (32) year-old township man. The TRO had been obtained by the man’s parents, with whom he resides. After being served, the man was escorted off of the property. Later in the day, at approximately 4:50 pm, Officer Raffaella Vastola responded back to the residence for a report that the man had repeatedly contacted another family member and advised that he (the accused) was going to kill his father. Ptl. Vastola further learned that the man had called his father in violation of the restraining order. As a result, Ptl. Vastola secured a warrant charging the man with Terroristic Threats and Contempt. The warrant was entered into NCIC and the Brick Township Police Department later located the man and arrested him. He was turned over to the Clinton Township Police Department and subsequently lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail in default of $20,000 bail.
