Main criteria –
Cleanliness – The Holiday Inn was extremely clean, the room was set up perfectly
Staff – The people running the holiday Inn could not have been nicer and were there to accommodate our every need. Rose at the Front desk was just delightful and we truly appreciated her calling us to make sure all our desires were being met. Ed Malone the Gm was very informative on what the hotel is doing to improve services and how they are working with the Town of Clinton to better servcie the surrounding area. We would also like to give a shout out to Rose in the sales department for being an integral part of the visit.
WIFI – If you are a business traveler the wifi is super fast. We were able to churn out vesion of www.thehunterdoncountynews.com www.thesomersetcountynews.com and www.themorriscountynews.com with no problem. The desk chair was very comfortable, swiveled around nicely and was well lit.
Bathroom – again very clean and the shower has great piping hot water. The organic soaps and shampoos provided were also very nice.
TV – a large screen – seemed to be 40 inches or bigger provided all the basic cable channels and included HBO at no charge.
Bar – For those looking for libation the Holiday Inn has a large bar that turns into a nightclub on the weekends. It is fully stocked, has pleasant bartenders and a nice array or music.
Into town – For those not wanting to move the vehicle there is a shuttle that can ferry you into the downtown of Clinton where you can enjoy one of many wonderful restaurants, stroll down the main street and get a picture in front of that famous red mill waterfall. You can also walk to the Clinton House, a fine eatery, in under ten minutes.
The Holiday Inn also provides a nice indoor pool which is open until ten p.m. The pool room also offers two new billiard tables for those who like to play a little 8 ball.
A nice room service menu is also available for those just wanting to kick back and relax.
Overall experience was extremely positive and if you are choosing to stay in the immediate Clinton area this is your best bet.
