@ approximately 2:29 AM – Police arrested Kevin S. Parisi, age 23 of Raritan Township and charged him with driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle crash on Rt. 202/31. Police were patrolling the area of Flemington BMW when they observed a vehicle parked in the parking lot there with the lights on. The vehicle was running and the front right wheel did not have a tire on it.
Police did not locate the driver or any passengers in the immediate area. Through further investigation, police learned that Parisi was the operator of the vehicle. He was ultimately located on Main Street in Flemington and exhibited signs of being under the influence of a narcotic. Parisi was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (alprazolam).
He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane control, failure to report a motor vehicle crash, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. The vehicle was towed and Parisi was released to a family member after processing. Investigation and arrest by P.O. Ismael Mendez.
