Carol A. Laine, 59,

Hillsborough, NJ-Carol A. Laine, 59, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Somerville, NJ, daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Marcinkowski) Prymowicz, she was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She started her work career as a commercial artist with Peterson Guide in Princeton, NJ, then became a floral designer for the Flower Lady in Hillsborough, and finally she worked for Rich Designs in Hillsborough. For the past three years, Carol was a full time grandma taking care of her two grandchildren. Carol graduated from the Spectrum Art Institute in Hillsborough. She loved spending time with her grandkids, loved animals and liked doing things that brought out here creativity. She was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ where she was an usher and involved with the prayer shawl ministry; she crocheted hundreds of prayer shawls and chemo caps. Carol was a member of the Hunterdon County Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG).

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her sister, Mary Venezia.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband, James C. Laine with whom she shared thirty-seven years of marriage and wed on August 9, 1980. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughter, Heather and her husband Tim Bartholomew of Hillsborough and two cherished grandchildren, Piper and Grayson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 (when using a GPS device use Flemington, NJ 08822 instead of Three Bridges) on Friday, January 19 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

A 12:00 p.m. funeral liturgy will be held on Saturday, January 20th at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 with Fr. Thomas J. Serafin officiating. Committal words and interment will follow at Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to Susan G.
