Carole A. Scott (1937-2017) Carole A. Scott Beloved mother and grandmother of Califon NJ passed away at home on Sept. 16th, 2017 after a brief illness.
She was born in Englewood NJ on October 27, 1937. Carole lived in Oradell, NJ before moving to Califon twelve years ago.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Heimburg and Robin Dunleavy.
Her mother Doris Bertram, her sister Maria Bertram, and granddaughters Amanda and Hope Dunleavy. Carole’s father Christian Bertram and her sister Helen Fyfe predeceased her.
Until June 2017 Carole was the Library Manager at the Tewksbury Public Library in Tewksbury NJ and a Unit Secretary for Heath Village in Hackettstown NJ. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from St. Peter’s University in Englewood Cliffs, NJ while working as an Admissions Director at Woodcliff Lake Nursing Home and Emerson Convalescent Center. Carole was passionate about her family, work, her patrons at the Library, and her cats China, Lucky, and Freddy.
A gathering of family and friends in celebration of Carole’s life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15th at The Oldwick Manor, located behind the Oldwick Fire Company, between 1:00-3:00.
