Bear Killed outside of Oldwick

On 12-12-17 at 1819 hours, Alan C. Pfersch of Deer Court, Chester, NJ (age 48) was traveling northbound on County Route 523/Oldwick Road when a bear entered the roadway and was struck and killed.  No driver injuries reported and no summons issued.
