Central Jersey Wind Ensemble to Play at the Red Mill Museum Village May 16th

The Red Mill Museum Village will host the Central Jersey Wind Ensemble for a patriotic concert on Saturday, May 16th at 2 p.m., to celebrate Armed Forces Day. The concert will be included with regular museum admission.

The Central Jersey Wind Ensemble is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the performance of wind band literature in Central New Jersey. The Ensemble is comprised of some of the top wind and percussion instrumentalists in the state, whose credentials include performing with organizations such as the Monmouth Symphony, the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea, the New Jersey State Opera, the Imperial Brass Band, the Ridgewood Concert Band, the Goldman Band, and the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra. The Central Jersey Wind Ensemble also provides concerts and clinics for students in participating school band programs.

The concert at the Red Mill Museum Village will include classic patriotic standards set against the beautiful backdrop of the Mulligan Quarry. It is included with regular museum admission, which is free for Museum Members and children under 6, $6 for children 6 to 12, $8 for seniors, active duty military, and veterans, and $10 for adults. Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on the Quarry lawn.
