Neshanic Station, NJ – Diane Lee (Jung) Ellis, entered into eternal life on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ surrounded by her loving husband and daughter. Born in Baden, PA, daughter of the late Kenneth Charles and Mary Katherine (Myers) Jung, she lived in Elmwood Park, NJ for thirty years before settling to Neshanic Station ten years ago.
Diane retired after many years as a mortgage processor in real estate in Elmwood Park. Earlier in her life, Diane was a medical biller for Dr. Stein Chiropractor in Bronx, NY. As a serious competitor, playing Words with Friends was a big joy; she also enjoyed crossword puzzles, and reading books. An avid and devoted grandmother, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, having sleepovers, and taking them to one of her favorite places, Dunkin Donuts. A terrific cook, her family will miss sharing her meals with them. Every year, she loved vacationing with her family in Wildwood, NJ.
Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her siblings, brother, Kenneth Scott Jung and twin sister, Donna Lou Reid.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of forty six years, Edward Joseph Ellis with whom she shared marriage on July 17, 1971. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughter, Jennifer Lee (Ellis) Taras and her husband Mark Steven Taras; two adored grandchildren, Madelynn Lee Taras and Andrew Max Taras; dear brother, David Jung; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ, 08887 on Saturday, August 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 8:00 p.m. At the family’s request, the disposition will be private.
