Dixieland with the Florian Schantz Jazz Trio

The Florian Schantz Jazz Trio will perform at the North County Branch Library, Clinton, on September 8 at 7:00 pm.  Led by Florian Schantz, a 14-year-old trumpet, cornet and Fluegelhorn player from Westfield, who founded the band when he was only 9-years-old and won the Louis Armstrong Award in 2014 for his outstanding accomplishments in jazz performance on trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn and bass trumpet.  The The concert combines live music and educational content which discusses the music, composers and instruments/equipment, techniques and musicians from the early Jazz area.
