On Monday, April 25, at approximately 6:30 pm, a Clinton Township resident was walking his dog, a male Weimaraner, along John Drive when a female Black Labrador, emerged from a nearby residence and attacked the Weimaraner. The attack ended when the Labrador’s owner pulled the dogs apart. The Weimaraner suffered cuts to its ears, head, and face. Officers met with the owners of both dogs and both dogs appeared to be current with all of their necessary shots. There were no other injuries. The Animal Control Officer was notified and will be investigating.
