On Wednesday, May 13, at approximately 1:55 am, Patrolman Andrew McCluskey stopped a 2012 Honda CRV operated by Melissa Guerriero, age 38, of Clinton Township, on Route 626 at Center Street for failing to maintain lane. During the stop, Ptl. McCluskey detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Ms. Guerriero’s breath and soon determined that she was intoxicated. Ptl. McCluskey arrested Ms. Guerriero and transported her to police headquarters where she provided samples of her breath for chemical testing to determine the content of alcohol in her blood. Ptl. McCluskey issued Ms. Guerriero motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Produce Documents. She was released to the custody of a responsible adult and her vehicle was towed and impounded.
