DUI CHECKPOINT IN CLINTON FINDS MORE MARIJUANA THAN ALCOHOL #3

On Friday, June 24, at approximately 11:20 pm, officers approached a 2011 Nissan sedan operated by Brianna Jackson, age 19, of Washington, at a DWI checkpoint on Route 31 North at Halstead Street and detected the odor of marijuana. A search produced marijuana, paraphernalia, and a stun gun in the vehicle’s glove box. As a result, Ms. Jackson was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stun Gun, Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Failure to Produce Documents. She was released ROR. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office assisted.
