@ approximately 1:45 AM – Police were dispatched to Klinesville Road to attempt to locate a vehicle which was reportedly fleeing from the scene of a possible residential break-in in Franklin Township. Police located the described vehicle and stopped it on Sand Hill Road. Police subsequently arrested Omar Lima, age 26 of Bridgewater, NJ and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol. Lima was issued additional summonses for reckless driving, driving while suspended and failure to surrender driver’s license. Three outstanding warrants were located for Lima’s arrest issued out of Bridgewater, Scotch Plains and Somerville municipal courts. Lima’s car was towed and he was released to a family member after posting bail on the warrants. Investigation and arrest by P.O. Dustin Pflug. Franklin Township police responded to the scene of the stop and ultimately did not charge Lima with any offenses.
