Edward A. Beahm, Sr.
HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ – Edward A. Beahm, Sr., 68, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home.
Born August 23, 1946 in Newark, NJ, Edward grew up in New Providence, NJ and lived in Flemington, NJ before moving to Holland Township 19 years ago. Edward worked for JBN Trucking in Pittstown, NJ, and was a truck driver for many years. He also worked for Hunterdon Central High School as a mechanic for many years. Edward loved the beach and worked on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights as a teenager. He also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, boating, being outdoors and spending time with his family, especially his grandson.
Son of the late Allen G. and Dorothy (Cherry) Beahm, Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Marianne (Ballweg) Beahm, his son Edward “J.R.” Beahm, Jr., of Holland Township, NJ, his two daughters Dawn Hammerstone of Finesville, PA and Jessika Beahm of Holland Township, NJ, and his grandson Dylan Hammerstone. He was predeceased by his brother Kirk Beahm.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10 AM at Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Cremation will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
