Edward J. Pastula, Jr.
HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ – Edward J. Pastula, Jr., 50, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ.
Born April 11, 1967 in Somerville, NJ, Edward lived in Somerville and Manville, NJ before moving to Holland Township over 20 years ago. He attended Raritan Valley Community College. Edward worked for Branchburg Public Works. Prior to that, he worked for Somerset Parks Commission and Alexandria Township Road Department. Edward was a passionate Eagles fan and outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed fishing and gardening. Edward was a member of the Milford Lions Club.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Lisa (Bellis) Pastula, his daughter Alyssa Pastula, his son Nicholas Pastula, his mother Irene (Karol) Pastula of Manville, NJ, and his sister Lori Pastula of Manville, NJ. He is also survived by his nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends. Edward was predeceased by his father Edward J. Pastula, Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ with Rev. William “Tex” Culton officiating. Interment will follow at the Riegelsville Union Cemetery in Riegelsville, PA. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM and Friday morning from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
