Erik Tomas Echevarria, 19,

Neshanic Station, NJ- Erik Tomas Echevarria, 19, entered into eternal life on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ with loving family by his side. Born in Summit, NJ, son of Edwin I. Echevarria and Denise Lynn Boucher, he was a lifelong resident of Neshanic Station.

Erik was presently attending college at Penn State University in State College, PA. He was majoring in Information Science and Technology with a focus on Security Risk Analysis. While at Penn State he was a member of the Power Lifting Club; and participated in Thon. Some of his passions in life include EDM, video games, and spending time with his Penn State and Somerville HS friends. He enjoyed fencing for several years at Medeo Fencing in Bridgewater, NJ.

Erik is predeceased by a paternal grandfather, Cristino Echevarria; and a maternal grandmother, Carol Boucher.

Besides his loving parents, Erik is survived by two dear sisters, Alexa Echevarria of State College, PA and Sara Echevarria of State College. He will be deeply missed by a paternal grandmother, Luz Amador and a maternal grandfather, Edward Boucher; five uncles, Edward Echevarria, Orlando Echevarria and his wife Yanira, Osvaldo Echevarria and his wife Marietta, Edward Boucher and his wife Sandy, and Michael Boucher; an aunt, Christina Echevarria; and his cousins, Brandon Boucher, Sofia Echevarria, Max Echevarria, Yorlian, Nesty, Cristofer, Jonathon, and Brian Echevarria.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Wednesday, November 29 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, November 30 from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, November 30 at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ with Msgr. Capik officiating.  Committal words and entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Annandale, NJ.  Memorial contributions may be made in Erik’s name to Thon atwww.Thon.org.
