F. Neal Lambert, age 77, of Clinton Twp.,

F. Neal Lambert, age 77, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.

He was born on June 12, 1939 in Somerville, NJ.  He was a lifelong resident of Annandale, NJ.

He was the son of the late Frederick and Irene Whiteley Lambert.

He was the husband of Margaret Adele Koenig Lambert, celebrating 53 years of marriage.

Neal was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School, class of 1957.  Upon graduating from High School, he served with the US Air Force for 8 years.

Currently, Neal was working part-time for Shop Rite in Clinton, NJ.  Prior to his retirement, Neal spent the majority of his career as a Construction Official for Clinton Township.  Earlier in his career, he worked for Hunterdon Lumber Company.

Neal was very involved with his community.  He was Past Chief of Annandale Hose Company in Annandale, NJ.  He was also a Past Master of Host Lodge#6 F. & A. M.  in High Bridge, NJ and also Past District Deputy Grand Master 14th District.  Neal was a member of the Tall Cedars where he served as Chaplin and Past Grand Tall.  He was also responsible for starting the Tall Cedar’s Annual Charity Ball.  Neal was also a member of Quiet Birdmen Somerville Hangar.

Neal enjoyed going on family vacations and spending time with his family.

Survivors in addition to his loving wife include 3 daughters; Bonnie Cozze and her husband Louis of Raubsville, PA, Theresa Linzer and her husband Timothy of Annandale, NJ and Valerie Castaldo and her husband Vincent of Cedar Run, NJ.  7 grandchildren; Patrick Cozze, Victoria Linzer, Timothy John ‘TJ’ Linzer, Neal Linzer, Margaret Linzer, Jenna Castaldo and Joelle Castaldo.  Neal is also survived by 1 brother; Ronald A. Lambert and his wife Peggy of Danville, PA.

Calling hours will be Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Masonic Services at 8pm.  Funeral Service will be Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11am.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
