“Fall for Flemington” kicks off with street decorating by community members

 

“Fall for Flemington” Kicks Off with Fall Street Decorating

WHAT:             Community volunteers including teenage students from the Raritan Learning Cooperative, will be decorating Main Street, Flemington with truckloads of hale bales, corn stalks, pumpkins and bows.

WHO:               The Flemington Community Partnership is the lead organizer, with support from Flemington Borough and Raritan Learning Cooperative.

 

WHERE:           Main Street, from the Monument to Church Street, and various other high traffic locations in the Historic Borough. Volunteers will begin a day of decorating at the Soldiers’ Monument at Two Main Street

WHEN:             Friday, October 6th, 10:30 a.m.

WHY:               The FCP’s “Fall for Flemington” marketing campaign is designed to bring shoppers, diners, and tourists to Flemington for a quintessential fall experience that combines autumnal beauty with shopping, dining and exploring. Other elements of the Fall for Flemington marketing campaign encompass the FCP-sponsored “Great Pumpkin Hunt” which awards prizes for visiting multiple destinations, and fall events including the Main Street Half Marathon, the Fall Finale Car Show, Flemington Fine Artisans Show and the Borough’s Halloween Parade.
