Family Fun Walk and Run Will Support Breast Care Programs at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center

On Saturday, May 7th, Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center and Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center are sponsoring the 16th Annual Family Fun Walk & Run. All proceeds will support breast care programs at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.  The event is being held at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) certified course.


Whether you run, walk, or just come out and enjoy the day, there are things to see and do, and prizes to win, all of which were generously donated by local businesses.  Registration for runners and walkers begins at 8:00 a.m.  The 5K run begins at 9:00 a.m.  The two-mile walk kicks off at 9:05 a.m. A “Mad Dash” for children ages 3-10 begins at 9:45 a.m.  Registration can be made in advance for $20.00 or on the day of the event for $25.00 and all participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100.  Children’s events are free; no registration is necessary.  All participants will receive a T-shirt and other give-a-ways while supplies last.
This event will include exciting raffle prizes, 50/50 cash raffle and giveaways to all participants. Some of the raffle prizes include a 55” HD TV, a lunch cruise, Kindle Fire, a full year membership to the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers, a weekend in the Fall trip to Maine, a $200 Shop-Rite gift card, IPad, ten massages from the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers and golf foursome at Beaver Brook Country Club.
