Father’s Day Hike June 21: Round Mountain Ramble

Treat Dad to a Father’s Day walk with the family up Round Mountain! There are few areas more beautiful, with fragile woodland flowers, lush open fields, mature forest and winding trails.  Containing about 500 acres of combined Readington and Hunterdon parkland, Round Mountain was originally used by the Lenni Lenape for encampments, and by European settlers for timber and farmland, as evidenced by the old logging roads and the old stone walls. The approximately two hour hike will take place over hilly terrain and will include some newly preserved woodland. Meet at Dobozynski Farm Park, 42 Woodschurch Road, Flemington 08822, at 1:00 PM. Note:
