The Hunterdon County Family Success Center (FSC) proudly announces Flemington Fun Day to be held Saturday, April 25th. This event, a free town-wide program open to all Hunterdon County residents and their families and friends, is three great events in one fun-filled day!
Start your day by joining teen members of the Safe Communities Youth Coalition at Unity Bank on the corner of Fulper and Main Streets between 11am and 1pm to register for a town-wide Treasure Hunt – pick up a healthy snack, a bag for your goodies and a Treasure Map! Follow the route on the map down Main Street, stopping by a dozen fun-filled locations where you and your family can win prizes, play games, make crafts and so much more!
- Visit Cocco’s Café for a taste of homemade gelato
- Stop at Hopewell Valley Bank for games and prizes
- Meet the Rolling Thunder Veterans Motorcycle Club at the Flemington Presbyterian Church
- Try the photo booth at Black Lab Studio
Every stop you make earns your family another raffle ticket to win local gift certificates and great prizes! The Treasure Hunt ends at Court Street Park.
At Court Street Park, the Family Success Center is holding its annual Spring Fling from noon to 3pm, with fun and games for the whole family! This free event includes games, face painting, and lots of animals, provided by the Hunterdon County 4H, to pet and cuddle – bunnies, goats, chickens and Seeing Eye puppies! Run an obstacle course with the Horseless Horse Club, or bring your lawn chair or a blanket and listen to local musicians!
While at the Spring Fling, stop by the Women’s Club, 43 Park Avenue, for a huge Health Fair! The Health Fair will also be open from noon to 3pm. Over a dozen exhibitors will have raffles for giveaways, plus provide valuable information to keep your family healthy, all for free! Every hour there will be a different exhibition, where you can join in the fun with a healthy cooking class, Martial Arts demonstration, Yoga and/or Zumba, and more! Sponsored by Hunterdon Prevention Resources and United Way of Hunterdon County to commemorate Minority and Multicultural Health Month, this Health Fair is jam packed with booths offering all kinds of information on health, wellness, and local services available to keep your family healthy and happy!
“Don’t miss this great day in Flemington. It really is a great town and these three free events are a great place to spend a spring afternoon!” said Penni Trionfo, Volunteer and Resource Coordinator at the FSC and coordinator of the event.
