Flemington, Hillsborough, Stockton, Whitehouse & Ringoes Athletes Win Tournaments

The Central Jersey Volleyball Academy (CJVA) U18 Chaos boys volleyball team emerged victorious on Sunday at the Mid-Atlantic Boys Kickoff Classic in Manheim, PA. The team defeated Sideout Sports SOSVBC 18-B of Fairfield, NJ in two sets, 25-19, 25-17. CJVA U18 Chaos also won the Southern Ocean Volleyball Club’s Friendship tournament in Manahawkin, NJ, outplaying boys junior club teams from all over the state of New Jersey. These tournament wins kick off their season, which will include the Atlantic Northeast tournament in Harrisburg, PA and USAV Boys Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.

The team is coached by Jason Davila, who also directs the boys program at Central Jersey Volleyball Academy.

“I am proud of the boys. They have been working very hard at practice and have already come together as a team,” says Davila. “They have come far in a short amount of time. We still have our biggest and most competitive tournaments ahead of us and I am confident that they will be successful and enjoy the game. I feel my job is done if they are learning the sport and enjoying themselves.”
