FLEMINGTON MAN ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL CRIMES

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives
John J. Kuczynski and Flemington Borough Police Chief Jerry Rotella
announced that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County
Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Flemington Borough
Police Department has led to the arrest of one individual on sexual
assault charges.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “On January 16, 2018, Manuel Gonzalez
Ramirez, age 34, of Flemington, was arrested and charged with one
count of 2nd degree Sexual Assault By Contact and one count of 2nd
Endangering the Welfare of a Child. An investigation by detectives from
the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the
Flemington Borough Police Department revealed the crimes took place
in 2015 and involved a child under the age of 13. Mr. Ramirez is being held in the Somerset County
Jail pending his first court appearance.”


The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is
presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
