Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, and Raritan Township Police Chief Glenn Tabasko announced that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, & Narcotics Task Force, the Hunterdon County K9 Unit and the Raritan Township Police Department has led to the arrest of one individual for narcotics offenses. According to Prosecutor Kearns, “The joint investigation resulted in the arrest of Kyle Rogers, age 30, of Flemington, NJ, on February 1, 2017.

The defendant was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin, a 3 rd degree crime. The defendant’s vehicle was seized for forfeiture and detectives confiscated 150 decks of heroin, with a street value $1,000, during the arrest of the defendant.” The defendant was released on his own recognizance pending his first court appearance. Prosecutor Kearns added, “I would like to thank the members of the Raritan Township Police Department for their valuable assistance during this investigation.” The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
