FORGER FOUND WITH ecstasy

Thursday, January 12, 2017 @ approximately 8:15 AM – Police arrested Felipa B. Giles, age 27 of Paterson, NJ and charged her with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (ecstasy) following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 202/31. Giles was a passenger in a vehicle that was initially stopped after a Random Plate Inquiry retuned an active NCIC hit, for possession of forgery instruments, out of New York City for the registered owner of the vehicle. Police observed that the physical descriptors on the NCIC hit matched the front seat passenger and confirmed that she was Giles after stopping the vehicle. The NCIC hit was confirmed with New York City and Giles was found to be in possession of ecstasy while being placed under arrest for the warrant. She was additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice. After processing, Giles was turned over to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department to be lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
