Frank R. Schulze
ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ – Frank R. Schulze, 84, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his home.
Born February 9, 1932 in Alexandria Township on his family’s farm, Frank was a lifelong resident there. He graduated from Frenchtown High School in 1950. Frank served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Riegel Paper Corp. in Milford, NJ for 44 years before retiring. Frank was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking and making furniture. Most of all, Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion Fidelity Post 113 in Frenchtown, NJ, the Orpheus Lodge #137 F&AM in Stockton, NJ, and a lifelong member of the N.R.A.
Son of the late Frank H. and Julia A. (Schweitzer) Schulze, Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Doris M. Schulze, his son Gregory Schulze and his companion Brenda Demarest of Ringoes, NJ, his daughter Lorrie McGough and her husband Frank of Lambertville, NJ, his three grandchildren Shane McGough, Allison Schulze, and Daniel Schulze, and his three great-grandchildren Shannon, Myles, and Delaney. He was predeceased by his two sisters Dorothy Schulze and Helen Hauff.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
