Signature Salon & Spa held it’s fourth annual “Freezin’ for a Reason, Cuts For a Cause” fundraiser, this past Sunday, September 10th. The fundraiser was held to benefit the Whitehouse Fire Company, as well as Samantha Ahimovic, a local resident and mother, who at only 36 years old, is suffering from stage 4 kidney cancer.
The fundraiser featured a haircut-a-thon, cryotherapy sessions, a tricky-tray with over 50 baskets and prizes, a cookout provided by the local fire fighters, face painting and activities for the kids, including pony rides, a petting zoo and a fire truck onsite. Local vendors also set up tables in the parking lot showcasing their businesses and wares.
Signature Salon & Spa raised over $5,000 that will be split between Mrs. Ahimovic and the Whitehouse Fire Company. Owners Linda Altieri and Dana Garner would like to thank everyone that came out to support these two important causes
