The Clinton Township Fraternal Order of Police (CTFOP) Lodge #182, the FOP of the Clinton Township Police Department, have joined forces with the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick (FSSP) of Hunterdon County, through a donation to the FSSP Charitable Fund.
The FSSP Charitable Fund is used to help people in need within Hunterdon County. The FOP donation of $1,800 will be used by the FSSP exclusively for aid to those residing in the Clinton Township area. This donation allows the two organizations to work together so that the CTFOP are able to give back and help people in need in the community they serve every day.
John Tiger, CTFOP Lodge President commented “We are a part of this community as well; it is our home. The CTFOP just wants to give back so that we can help our neighbors who need it the most.” Sean Ross, CTFOP Lodge Secretary added “We are happy to give back to our neighbors throughout the community. We donate to multiple community organizations throughout the year, but when we heard about the FSSP we knew we had to be a part of it. The CTFOP is always looking for new ways to help the community and the FSSP gives us the ability to do more. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with the FSSP for the mutual goal of bettering our community and the people within it.”
“The FSSP Hunterdon Co. are honored to be working with the CTFOP Lodge #182 and wish to publicly thank the CTFOP for its continued service to the community, its desire to serve the members of the community beyond its professional capacity for putting its trust in the FSSP.” commented incoming FSSP President Bernie Gallagher.
