Glenn William Hagan, age 53,

Glenn William Hagan, age 53, of Belvidere, NJ passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at home.

He was born on November 3, 1963 in Flemington, NJ.  He spent most of his life in Lebanon, NJ and also Whitehouse Station, NJ.  He resided in Belvidere, NJ with his beloved friends for the past 4 months.

He was the son of the late Amiel Willaim Hagan who passed away in 2009 and Janet Patricia Dusey Hagan who passed away in 2015.

Glenn loved cars, especially his 1974 Trans Am which he always was making changes to despite how perfect it was.  He worked his entire career as an auto mechanic.  Over the years he worked for various shops and even had his own business as the ‘Mobile Mechanic’.  Most recently, he worked at Station Auto in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Glenn was an active member of the Lebanon Boro. Fire Company, where he served as Chief in 2001.  Glenn also served his community as a former member of the Good Will Fire Company in Belvidere.  He was a former EMT for both Belvidere Ambulance Corps and Whitehouse Rescue Squad.

Glenn was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved nature and especially enjoyed fly fishing and going to the Ken Lockwood Gorge in High Bridge, NJ.  He found peace being outdoors.  He was also an active member of Trout Unlimited Ken Lockwood Chapter #244.  He will always be remembered for his love of raccoons.

Survivors include his two brothers; Michael Allen Hagan of Milltown, WI and Mark Reading Hagan and his partner Jesse of Wellington, FL.  Glenn is also survived by his two Goddaughters whom he loved dearly; Kristen M. Mascera and her husband Lawrence and their children Lillian and Eleanor of Hatfield, PA and Karen E. Piano and her husband John Schuettler of Hackettstown, NJ.

Gathering of friends will take place on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 4pm – 5pm with Firemen’s Service at 5pm.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
