Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the indictment of Eric C.
Ferraris, age 34, of South Plainfield, and Amy DeFazio, age 33, of Whitehouse Station. On July
27, 2017, A Hunterdon County Grand Jury handed down a 51 count indictment on Mr. Ferraris
and Ms. DeFazio.
The indictments were as follows:
3rd Degree Burglary – 18 counts
3rd Degree Theft – 13 counts
3rd Degree Conspiracy – 12 counts
3rd Degree Attempted Burglary – 2 counts
3rd Degree Theft By Receiving Stolen Property – 2 counts
4th Degree Theft – 3 counts
4th Degree Criminal Mischief – 1 count
The defendants are charged with multiple burglaries in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. Mr.
Ferraris and Ms. DeFazio are scheduled to appear in Hunterdon County Superior court on
August 14, 2017.
