HAMPTON WOMAN INDICTED FOR BURGLARY AND THEFT

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the indictment of Megan Rosata, age 23, of Hampton Boro. On July 13, 2017, Ms. Rosata was indicted by a Hunterdon County Grand Jury for Burglary and Theft, both 3rd degree crimes. According to Prosecutor Kearns, “Ms. Rosata was arrested by the New Jersey State Police Washington Barracks on April 13, 2017, after an investigation revealed she committed burglary and theft in the Boro of Hampton on or about April 10, 2017. Ms. Rosata will appear at Hunterdon County Superior Court for a post indictment hearing on July 24, 2017.” The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
