Harvest Family Success Center Introduces “Youth Performing Arts Summer Camp”

The Harvest Family Success Center (FSC) is introducing a new program to the Center: Youth Performing Arts Summer Camp.  “Youth Performing Arts Summer Camp” is for kids entering grades 4th to 6th grade, who would enjoy learning about what makes performing arts such fun! The program will be led by Girl Scout, Kayla MacKinnon, a student entering her freshman year at Delaware Valley Regional High School. Kayla has performed in many school musicals while at Alexandria Middle School and participates in a variety of performance workshops and classes. The camp will be held at the Salvation Army, located at 40 East Main St., Flemington on the following dates from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. on 6/19/17, 6/20/17 and 6/21/17.

Each class will have a different focus centered around the story of Cinderella, all leading up to a final free ‘performance’ for parents and anyone who wishes to come on the last session, Wednesday. Participants will learn about acting, singing, dancing, and set designing. Pre-registration is suggested.
