HIGH BRIDGE POLICE REPORT – accidents – pot – a hit and run and a dui

TYPE OF INCIDENT: MVA

       

DESCRIPTION:  Patrol investigated a two car MVA on Fairview Ave.  A 2010 Subaru Forrester operated by Dorothy Iannucci of Hampton, NJ attempted to change lanes and struck a 2000 Ford Explorer being operated by Cathy Tarsi of Phillipsburg, NJ.  Iannucci was issued a summons for obstructing traffic.  No injuries resulted.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: CDS arrest

 

DESCRIPTION:  Patrol arrested Adam Wierciszewski, 19 of Annandale, NJ for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.  Patrol was checking the area of Lake Solitude for a report of suspicious persons near the rear of the Custom Alloy property.  Patrol located two subjects and during the course of investigating found Wierciszewski to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.  Wierciszewski was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, processed and released.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: CDS arrest

 

DESCRIPTION:  Patrol stopped Brandon D. Figueroa, 22 of Wharton, NJ for having an expired license.  Patrol observed suspected marijuana in the vehicle.  A subsequent search resulted in finding 2 suspected marijuana brownies, a bag of suspected marijuana and a paper fold containing suspected marijuana.  Figueroa was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, processed and released.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Warrant arrest

 

DESCRIPTION:  Evan Scott, 25 of High Bridge, NJ turned himself in at Police Headquarters to post bail on an active traffic warrant in the amount of $750.00 out of Pleasantville municipal court.  Scott posted full bail.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: MVA

 

DESCRIPTION:  Patrol investigated a motor vehicle crash on Bridge St. involving a blue 2011 Harley Davidson Road King and a 2001 Silver Ford Focus.  The driver of the Ford Focus, Julia Rigatti of High Bridge, NJ struck Matthew Drummond of Hampton, NJ in the rear as he was stopped in traffic on Bridge St. (Rt. 513).  No injuries resulted from the crash.  The motorcycle was inoperable and towed from the scene.  The Ford Focus was operable and driven from the scene.  The driver of the Focus was issued  summonses for careless driving and obstructing traffic.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: MVA / Hit and Run

 

DESCRIPTION:  Patrol investigated a hit and run motor vehicle crash on Beavers Street.  An unknown driver crossed over in to the opposite lane of travel and struck a mailbox before fleeing the scene.  The striking vehicle was unable to be located.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: MVA

 

DESCRIPTION:  A 2004 Lexus RX 330 operated by Vera Hnot of Hampton, NJ was traveling west bound on Cregar Road, approached the stop sign at the intersection of Fairview Ave. (Rt. 513) and Cregar Rd.  When Hnot drove her Lexus in to the intersection, continuing west bound on Cregar Rd. she struck a 2002 Toyota Solara operated by Michael Tesoriero of Staten Island NY.  The 2002 Toyota was traveling south bound on Fairview Ave. (Rt. 513).  No injuries were reported.  Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene.

TYPE OF INCIDENT:  Warrant arrest

 

DESCRIPTION:  Scott Dhein posted bail at Police Headquarters on an outstanding warrant issued out of New Brunswick Municipal Court for $750.00.  Dhein also posted bail on another warrant issued out of Highland Park Municipal Court for $500.00.  Dhein posted full bail on both warrants.

TYPE OF INCIDENT: DWI

 

DESCRIPTION:  Patrol stopped Angela Davis 35 of High Bridge, NJ for failing to stop at the intersection of McDonald St. and Mill St.  Davis was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated.  Davis was issued summonses for failure to stop, driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
