HIGH BRIDGE WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD AND AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and High Bridge Borough Police Chief Bret Bartman announced a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and High Bridge Borough Police Department has led to the arrest of one individual in High Bridge. According to Prosecutor Kearns, “Tamara Standford, age 36, of High Bridge, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a second degree crime, and Aggravated Assault, a third degree crime. Bail was set at $100,000 by the Honorable Eric Perkins J.M.C. Ms. Standford is currently being held at the Somerset County Jail.” This is an active investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit at (908)788-1129. The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
