Hunterdon Chamber to Hold 2nd Annual Hunterdon County Community Day on June 13th – Calling all Businesses, Community Organizations and Groups to Participate.

The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce is proud to hold its 2nd Annual Hunterdon County Community Day on Saturday, June 13st from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM at South County Park-Hunterdon County Fairgrounds, located on Route 173 in Ringoes. Admission is free to attend and it will take place rain or shine.

“The Chamber is very excited to be in the planning stages of hosting our 2nd Hunterdon County Community Day.  This is an opportunity to celebrate all things Hunterdon; we will be bringing all 26 municipalities of the County together to showcase what makes this area a great place to work and live,” said Chris Phelan, President of the Chamber.  This year’s theme centers around celebrating Hunterdon’s great past. We will have a variety of activities and games that are reminiscent of the bygone days.

This year we are having an old-fashioned theme that is going to have you reminiscing summer days of the past. We are inviting all municipalities to set-up interactive booths that offer games that we use to play while growing up. Yes, potato sack races, water balloon tosses, horseshoes, tug-of-war, plus much more.

Back by popular demand Michael Shwedick’s Reptile World with three live reptile shows throughout the afternoon. This free event will also include a petting zoo, pony rides, a reptile show, a dunk tank, a bouncy village, children’s games, demonstrations from our local businesses and organizations, an old-fashioned fire truck parade, tethered rides on the Unity Bank Balloon, food, music and much more.

The Chamber would like to thank Hunterdon Healthcare and the County of Hunterdon for being this year’s Presenting Sponsors. We would also like to acknowledge ShopRite of Hunterdon County as our Community Partner, Unity Bank as our Entertainment Sponsor and Hunterdon Prevention Resources and the Safe Community Coalition of Hunterdon/Somerset as our Contributing Partners.  Sponsorship opportunities at various levels are still available.  Businesses and non-profit organizations are encouraged to participate in Community Day by signing up as a vendor.  Business vendors are available for $200 and non-profit vendors for $100.  For more information, please visit or call the office at 908-782-7115.
