The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce recently held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at DomAlena’s Hair and Nail Lounge where members of the Chamber along with the Flemington Business Improvement District, Mayor Phil Greiner of Flemington, and County Clerk Mary Melfi were in attendance to help celebrate their new location at 915 Central Avenue in Flemington, which at one point, served as a station for the Black River & Western Railroad.
This husband-wife team opened their first location in October 2009 on Main Street Flemington with a desire to serve their customers in a warm, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Sandi Graziani, a graduate of the Capri Institute in Raritan, began her career in cosmetology over 24 years ago, not too far away from their original location. In order to offer customers the latest hairstyling trends, Sandi and her staff attend beauty shows and training events in New York City, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Miami.
Angelo Graziani left the printing industry after 17 years, and in 2011, successfully graduated and received his license from The Hunterdon County Polytech. He was awarded the Hunterdon County Polytech Graduate of the Year Award, The Student of the Year Award, and named in the National Honor Society. Angelo now specializes in men’s cuts as well classic barbering services at DomAlena’s Hair & Nail Lounge.
