Singer/pianist/narrator Fred Miller will perform on Wednesday, May 3 at 2:00 pm at the North County Branch Library in Clinton, NJ. The focus is on George and Ira Gershwin, two brothers boasting the most revered name in American Popular Song. Program will be repeated on Thursday, May 4 at 2:00 pm at the Hunterdon County Library Flemington, NJ. Food historian Judith Krall-Russo on the food and entertaining of the 1950s era, May 6 at 2:00 pm at the Hunterdon County Library, Rt. 12 Flemington. Say the 1950s and our minds drift back to a more nostalgic time of “Father Knows Best”, 45 RPM records, black and white televisions, and “I like Ike.” After the hardship of the war years, women entertained more and ladies luncheons and cocktail parties became very popular. Vocalist Nancy Coletti, pianist Judy Palma and bassist Sue Williams perform jazz and blues standards, classic contemporary hits of Burt Bacharach & Hal David, Diana Krall arrangements, and movie music at the North County Branch Library, Clinton, May 10 at 7:00 pm.

This girl trio, “Dame Suite,” will perform music from Nancy’s CD “Black Coffee.” Nancy’s versatility has enabled her to perform in renowned venues such as The State Theatre of NJ, Count Basie Theatre, The Bitter End NYC, The Duplex and Don’t Tell Mama in NYC, as well as the legendary Deer Head Inn Jazz Club in Delaware Water Gap, PA.
