Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the recent graduation of K9 handler, Detective Edward Pawlick and K9 Finn from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K9 Scent Class with a specialty in tracking.

K9 Finn and K9 Handler Detective Pawlick have been providing K9 drug detection services to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Guns, Gangs, and Narcotics Task Force as well as other law enforcement agencies since graduating from the New Jersey State Police Drug Scent Detection Class in June of 2015.

According to Prosecutor Kearns, “This new certification allows us to expand our K9 capabilities and offer greater services to the citizens of Hunterdon County.  In addition to using our K9 unit to help detect the presence of illegal drugs, Finn’s new tracking capabilities can help in the apprehension of criminals and tracking of lost or missing persons. I congratulate Detective Pawlick and Finn for their continued dedication and hard work.”
