HUNTERDON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICERS EXTRADITE MAN FROM UPSTATE NY

Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Detectives traveled to Onondaga County, New York to arrest a Queens, New York man for violating his probation.  Sheriff’s Detectives Frank Modaffare and Lamont Garnes, in conjunction with  Syracuse New York Police arrested Taymar J Cooley on a Hunterdon County warrant  issued in October 2014 for failure to comply with the terms of his probation.  Cooley, 28, was originally convicted of possession, manufacturing, and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.  After an extradition hearing in Onondaga County Court, the detectives returned Cooley to Hunterdon County and lodged him in the County Jail to await a hearing in Superior Court.
