HUNTERDON COUNTY SMALL BIZ NETWORKING MEETUP ON AUGUST. 16TH, FEATURING GUEST SPEAKER ADAM WEISBERGER, WITH NY LIFE INSURANCE CORP.

The Small Biz Networking Meetup group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and our next one is Tuesday, August. 16th at the Flemington Raritan Diner, on Rte. 31.  From 11:30am-1:15pm.  This group boasts over 466 members and is in existence for 5 years, founded and organized by Julie Parker, a Marketing & PR Consultant.  The Meetup offers great networking, and there are resource tables for displaying members’ business cards/flyers and promotional materials.  Members get to introduce themselves and do a 1 minute mini-commercial of their business and services, and we feature a special guest speaker each month.  A delicious lunch menu is provided by the diner, and the Cost is only $17 .   Also, feel free to bring guests,   the Banquet room has plenty of space!

Our guest speaker is one of our members, Adam Weisberger from NY Life, Edison office, and he will be doing a 20 minute presentation, followed by question and answer period.  Adam states:  “My overall objective is the continued dedication to hiring and developing capable men and women from all backgrounds who can provide effective and innovative solutions for the problems people and businesses face.

My expertise includes recruiting within the financial services industry, with the focus on attracting, hiring and retaining outside individuals with strong business acumen and superlative organizational, analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.

By staying true to the principles of prudent expansion, conservative growth, full service, and, above all, a strong agent field force, New York Life Insurance Company will maintain and enhance its reputation as “The Company You Keep”.

We also have an on-going fundraiser for the Flemington Food Pantry, and ask that members bring non-perishable items to donate.
