The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers in Whitehouse Station and Clinton are dedicated to providing health enhancement and disease prevention programs for the community. As part of their Education Series, the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers will offer Benefits of Acupuncture, on Tuesday, May 12th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Whitehouse Station and Wednesday, May 13th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in Clinton.
Acupuncture is an ancient practice that involves the insertion of very thin needles into a patient’s skin at specific points on the body. Acupuncture can be used to treat migraines, blood pressure, insomnia, allergies and even aid in weight loss. Tamara Berisha, MS, L.Ac., L.M.T., Director of Hunterdon Integrative Medicine Program, will lead this informative discussion.
